As a professional organizer in the Austin Texas area, I work with clients to help them bring order and beauty into their spaces. My current rate is $50/hour. Consultations are a half hour and I charge $25, but if the client chooses to hire me, the $25 will be applied to the final project cost. Here is my process:
1. Initial consultation to assess the space and the client’s goals for the space. This includes assessing the organizing tools the client currently has on hand, talking budget for organizing tools and sharing my ideas for the space. And measuring the space to ensure I purchase the correct organizing tools.
2. If the client would like to move forward, we work together at first to declutter the space as it is easier to organize a space that only has what the client is loving and using. I like to use the process of removing everything from the space in order to do this so I can start with a clean slate when I begin organizing.
3. Next I will get to work organizing the space. Typically I do this on my own without the client’s help.
